Me I slowly came to see religion was a crutch we use to dream of a better "afterlife"....I feel half my life was wasted building an organisation that had no criminal mastermind behind it...just alot of mislead people looking for leadership. If your still religious explain why.

To clarify Raymond in his OWN books mentioned how hard it was to make 607 convincing with 99 % of scholars disclaiming it as nonsense. We all had to "white lie" and stretch the truth hammering the wrong piece of a puzzle into place.

Yeah Raymond was given the huge job to write "Aid to bible understanding." The most deepest difficult job in bethel history...and he wrote it claiming 607 b.c.e 1914 was impossible to prove.

I like him because there was no bitterness or hate which I have. He gave us the facts and NEVER took cheap shots at any "brothers" he was the best J.W scholar better then his uncle. Imagine Raymond handing "the gentile times re-examined to the governing body disproving the 1914 date...huge guts! Things could have been different a huge reform for Witnesses.

i was shocked when brothers and sisters with full time jobs would park their brand new cars and go witnessing in my 20 year old orange datsun.
i was barely living on $250 a week as a yeah...window cleaner.

I was barely living on $250 a week as a yeah...window cleaner. I was tired of driving all week and would have loved for someone to invite me into an air-conditioned new car for a break. They DONT CARE. No one ever contributed for petrol after driving all day in a car that was barely hanging on. I just got a new car a month ago and am glad that poverty is behind me.
